Meet Dr. Tristan Steinberger
Double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine — and the physician who will see you at every visit.

A pain specialist, not a general practitioner
Dr. Steinberger is double board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology — as an anesthesiologist and as a pain medicine specialist. That second certification requires a dedicated fellowship year beyond residency, and it is what separates a pain specialist from a physician who treats pain occasionally.
He earned his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed his anesthesia residency at the Sunrise GME Health Consortium in Las Vegas. He then finished an Interventional Chronic Pain fellowship at the University of Vermont before bringing that training to Coral Gables.
He has performed thousands of interventional pain procedures. At Gables Pain he sees every patient himself — your evaluation, your procedure and your follow-up are all with the same physician.
“We don’t just treat pain, we help people reclaim their active lives.”
